We the People...

When in the course of American politics, it becomes necessary for the people to dissolve their ties with an elected official, and to reclaim the power and representation that our Constitution entitles them to, we believe it is important to clearly declare the reasons behind this decision.
We hold these truths to be self-evident that all people of the United States are entitled to proper representation in the government. Representation that seeks to fulfill their needs and solve their problems, among these problems being infrastructure, flood control, insurance premiums, highway gridlock, wasteful government spending, and skyrocketing living expenses. To secure representation, officials are elected by the people, deriving their power from the consent of their constituents. When an official becomes neglectful to the duties they have been chosen for, it is the right of the people to expel him from office, and to elect a new candidate who will respect the sanctity of their office, and use their power derived from the people for the people. The decision to remove one official from power and replace him with a new one is not made lightly. When an official continuously abuses their power at the expense of the people they are meant to represent, it becomes the peoples’ right and duty to break free from their suffering and elect new leaders who will secure their future. The tenure of the present Congressman of Florida’s 7th district is one of repeated lies and transgressions for his own gain, indicating an indifference towards the people he is meant to fight for. The following facts make this pattern evident:
He has voted against protecting our borders.
He has voted against tracking jihadists as they cross our borders.
He has voted against amendments that end aid to terrorist countries.
He has voted to give afghanis easy refugee status
He has stood with democrats who refused to condemn Ilhan Omar’s violent rhetoric.
He has been dishonest, lying about his marriage which took place in a mosque with ties to 9/11, the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing, and Hamas.
He has taken credit for acts of heroism he wasn’t involved in in an attempt to get a Bronze Star 20 years after leaving the army. He has lied extensively about his military service, engaging in a 20 year streak of committing Stolen Valor while defrauding voters and the state department, and deserting his fellow soldiers and contractors.
He has forged a general's signature in an attempt to affirm his lies.
He has struck quid pro quo backroom deals to protect himself from censure.
He has physically assaulted one mistress and attempted to extort another.
He has lied about his business and finances. He failed to pay for his $21,000 a month penthouse in D.C.. His business is in financial ruin, his employees left without paychecks, and if that isn’t bad enough, his businesses are under investigation for attempting to illegally ship grenades overseas.
He has, time and time again, acted against the interests of his constituents.
At many points throughout his tenure we have asked him for transparency. Every time he answered with denial and deflection. His actions have proven him to be unfit to represent the people of Florida’s 7th district.
We, therefore, the people of Seminole and Volusia counties, declare that we ought to elect a new candidate. Someone with integrity. Someone who we can count to represent us instead of himself. Michael Don Johnson is here to answer the call.
Michael Don Johnson, a decorated U.S. Army veteran and lifelong Republican, has officially announced his campaign for the United States Congress representing Florida’s 7th district. After 36 years of federal service, Johnson is running because the people of District 7 need a representative who stands for transparency, accountability, and free speech. “I will never vote to silence debate in Congress, especially regarding threats made by fellow members,” said Johnson.
Johnson has pledged to introduce legislation for projects that truly help Floridians, and expose people like Mills who break the law for their own gain. “Our district needs a voice focused on results, not scandals or self-promotion,” - Johnson stated.
Michael Don Johnson is focused on local issues including eliminating high property taxes and utility costs, improving infrastructure, enhancing flood control, reducing traffic, and making Central Florida more affordable.
Nationally, he wants to adhere to conservative principles, including America First, fiscal responsibility, and a strong national defense.
“I’m ready to serve the people of district 7 — to defend the values and freedoms that make America strong.”
